# Prophet Tiers

## The different tiers of rarity

Prophets come in a variety of different tiers such as Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary.

## Item slots

Each different tier of Crypto Prophet can hold a different number of items. Each item equipped will give the Crypto Prophet a [magic spell](/prophets/magic.md) that can be used against opponents in the [Battle Arena](/gameplay/battle-arena.md).

The table below shows how many item slots come on the various tiers of Crypto Prophets.

| Rarity tier | No. slots | Slot types                |
| ----------- | --------- | ------------------------- |
| Common      | 0         | No slots                  |
| Uncommon    | 1         | Staff                     |
| Rare        | 2         | Staff and cape            |
| Epic        | 3         | Staff, cape and wand      |
| Legendary   | 4         | Staff, cape, wand and pet |

## Founder edition NFTs

The **first minted Legendary** Crypto Prophet or magic item of a generation, race, character or item type will be automatically upgraded to a Founders Edition NFT. Founder Edition NFTs have Legendary status by default, but have a higher multiplier for the daily prize draw

Only **one** founder edition NFT will ever exist for each prophet and item in a generation.

## Non-fungible token standard

All NFTs in The Crypto Prophecies universe will use either ERC-721 or ERC-1155 token standards, meaning they are fully compatible with OpenSea.
